The Romanian Union of Liberal Professions carries out its activity in order to accomplish the following objectives:

1. the protection, in organized forms, of the fundamental interests of the members of liberal professions;
2. the creation of an adequate legale frame for the development of liberal professions by their independent or autonomous organization in relation with the State and public authorities;
3. the ensuring of the conditions for the exertion of the professions on the basis of free initiative and under competitive conditions according to the legal provisions, the statutory rules and with the deonthological principles;
4. the promotion of the solidarity of the liberal professions;
5. the adaptation of the Romanian legislation concerning the liberal professions to the standards of the European Union;
6. the active participation of the liberal professions in the social dialogue organized in Romania;
7. the establishing of cooperation and mutual aid relations with other organizations of liberal professions at international level;
